Team Phoenix is serious about growing the sport in SA and recently held their second Artistic Swimming coaches course for beginner coaches. These courses are aimed at encouraging starting recreational synchro in new and existing clubs and swim schools.
8 coaches attended the course from Johannesburg, Pretoria, Natal and Free State, including what may well be the first male coach in SA! It was great to have such an enthusiastic group of coaches who had lots of fun and laughs during the Theory and Practical sessions. This brings to 11 the number of coaches trained this year.
