Team Phoenix is pleased to offer Artistic Swimming coaches courses for recreational coaching. These courses will equip you with the skills to teach complete beginner swimmers the basics. The Beginner Bronze courses includes lesson plans to get you started as well as a complimentary follow-up session to help new coaches. Courses build on each other to progressively increase coach skill level as athletes improve their capabilities. Subsequent courses are “Beginner Silver” and “Beginner Gold” after which coaches will have the required knowledge to coach swimmers to be able to attempt the SA Level 1 assessment.

Professional Artistic Swimming Coaching from Beginner to Olympic level for all swimmers, coaches and clubs.

"There are basically two types of people. People who accomplish things and people who claim to have accomplished things. The first group is less crowded."

Skills Classes

These classes focus on specific skills that the swimmer needs to acquire for both recreational and competitive Artistic Swimming. These form the basis of the moves performed in routines.

Skills classes are held in smaller groups for more individual attention and faster progression.

The Parkview pool is heated to 30 degrees which makes static drills more comfortable for the swimmers and aids concentration and focus as the swimmers are not shivering!

Payment is monthly at R500 per month, the first payment is paid on booking on the website and future payments are invoiced monthly.

Little Mermaids swimmers are incorporated into the skills classes

Squad Classes

The Squad class is focused on routine work. The weekday skills classes equip the swimmers to be able to perform the required routine moves.

The emphasis this term is preparing the swimmers to perform routines for the Team Phoenix show day to be held on 25 March.

This is an 8 week course and will be held every Saturday afternoon from 28 January 2023. The course culminates in the Show Day to be held on Saturday 25th March 2023.

Weekly attendance is strongly recommended to avoid falling behind.

Classes are at Brescia House School Pool, Sloan Street, Bryanston.

Saturday from 11am to 1pm.

Payment is monthly at R500 per month, the first payment is paid on booking on the website and future payments are invoiced monthly.
